WELL.

HERE IS MY LITTLE CRAP GAME THAT I HAVE BEEN SLAVING OVER THE PAST WEEK.
it's.....pretty damn simple... and there's not much....

right now i'm in User Interface and Design (UID) which is basically Intro to Flash Games.
I CAME INTO THIS KNOWING 0% ABOUT FLASH and picked this game because I was thinking "oh, I'll just do the classic catching game, that's been done so many times, it's gotta be simple enough."
WELL. i missed the memo that our first project was suppose to just be point and click games. You know the "you go down a path and reach a fork in the road. Do you go left or right?" type game.
WHICH ARE SIGNIFICANTLY MUCH EASIER CODING WISE THAN THIS........................

so a huuuuuuge thanks to my room mate who helped me out a ton with this.
right now it's just kinda....play until you get bored. we're able to resubmit these to raise our grades so I may go back in and implement a timer or lives (I wanna do lives, but a timer is easier for someone new like me). but it just depends on time. i've got 1 other class and now a group project coming up, and I know the teacher was very happy with this project (I did way more than what was required or expected for the first project), so I'm guessing I'll get a good grade that I won't be too desperate to bump up with a resubmission.
we'll just see!


anyway, have fun with shnee! : D get him nice and fat! post your score!

oh. and
i /totally/ meant to put a warning screen in there telling people not to feed real cookies or cupcakes to dogs (because it's a kid's game so there should be a warning to that stuff) but just completely forgot. if i do the update with the timer/lives, i'll definitely add the warning.

So I totally was thinking "Broccoli, I love broccoli!" and started making him eat them.

Then I realized my score was -395.
Oops. 8D

Quite nice though, very cute and fun little game. You did a good job!

lol this is a lot harder than I thought it would be XD I love it though! This might turn into somethng I play when I get bored. If you figured out how to make it I-pod compatable and loaded it to I-tunes I'd buy it :3

we actually had the option to make it android compatible, but considering this was my first time /ever/ doing anything in flash or coding/scripting, I didn't do it. that would have just been a ton more work that I didn't know how to do.
